Posts and Hours Available
- POST 1: 36 hours, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am–5:00 pm
- POST 2: 4 hours, Saturday only 11:30 am–3:30 pm
- POST 3: Bank, 0 hours – as required Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver laboratory specimens, pharmacy supplies, store goods, patient transports, clinical waste and other items.
- Drive as a lone worker throughout Fife and surrounding areas (Edinburgh, Dundee), following route maps and timed duty schedules.
- Operate vehicles including cars, vans, minibuses and 3.5 tonne lorries.
- Handle physical tasks such as moving cages, stores, medical notes, equipment, furniture, clinical waste bins, and laboratory & pharmacy boxes.
- Maintain communication and safety protocols. Qualifications and Requirements
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to follow route mapping and timed schedules. Training and Development
- Full department training and one‑to‑one coaching.
- ADR training for clinical waste collections.
- Attendance required at NHS Fife induction training course.
