- Responsible for the Chile Import/Export operations process, focused on managing the operations of determined types of products including vegetable/ row crops seeds and non-seed. Controlling on a middle-level the activities of the logistics operator, customs brokers, transporters, and internal stakeholders on a lead-time, costs and efficiency prospects. Your mission will be
- The Global Trade Enabling Analyst is responsible of managing and controlling Import and Export operations of vegetable/ row crops seeds and non seed product ensuring compliance and regulatory policies.
- Provide visibility of the import and export operations under his responsibilities to the required internal and external stakeholders.
- Support compliance with the provisions of customs legislation in the respective legal entities and inform any deviation of the process (system hard hold, phytosanitary or regulatory requirements, NPPO´s procedures).
- Accountable for the control, management and follow up on daily operations with the Trade Operations suppliers.
- Responsible of maintain up to date import/export tracking systems to ensure Key Performance Measurements in place and constantly monitored to continuous improvement and increase efficiency.
- Ensure control of non compliant operations and implementation of correction and preventive actions.
- Accountable for giving guidance and technical support of import /export procedures including phytosanitary requirements and selecting the best route necessary to arrive with the shipment in a timely manner.
- Responsible for requesting resolutions of exception to an import through NPPO´s entity and doing the follow-up to request.
- Support the internal customers on the process of managing and creating new demands, Purchase requisitions, Export Forms, Master Data on SAP.
- Ensure to fulfill customs regulations in the countries of import/export operations.
- Responsible for checking the Import and Export requirements are being attended before sending the operations to the Logistic Operator
- and manage the requirements attendance.
- Accountable for giving the documents approvals and validation of service invoices, and management of the necessary systems inputs. Unlock your potential
- Foreign Trade background (Global Trade Concepts)
- Fluent oral and written English
- 2+ years in Foreign Trade processes or related operations
- Experience in Legal, Tax, Costs, Logistics and Customer Care operations
- System knowledge as user
- SAP, advanced Excel, Word and analytical tools
- Project Management Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a global, team-based and matrix environment
- Interpersonal and strong communication skills, team player, positive attitude and sociable
- Communicate effectively, self confident and influence capabilities
- Dynamic and pragmatic
- Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines, planning and organizational skills
