To support this mission, Syngenta’s Financial Risk Management Team is seeking a Treasury & Financial Solutions Andinos Specialist in Santiago, Chile. This role will
- Supervise and be accountable for all activities related to Treasury and Financial Solutions program implementation. Serve as the focal point for all banking relationships and financial third parties within the Andean scope (Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela).
- Serve as the focal point for the AFO (Americas Finance Operations) team, based in Uruguay, to coordinate and manage all treasury activities executed from the Finance Service Center that may have an impact on business matters. Coordinate follow-up activities with the AFO team to ensure proper management of relevant KPIs and business cash flow forecasts.
- Act as the focal point for all Financial Solutions program management and implementation, assuming end-to-end accountability for all related matters.
- Be knowledgeable of commercial business processes as well as current commercial policies and Financial Solutions program guidelines to ensure full compliance in their implementation.
- Understand business intercompany flows and their impact on cash flow management, supporting the business with clear and accurate data managed by relevant stakeholders for sound decision-making.
- Provide full support for all reporting requirements, including NFE (Net Financial Expenses) and cash flow targets. Deliver information and statistical input to management for decision-making and analytical purposes.
- Support other stakeholder areas (including Credit, Compliance, Internal and External Audit, Customer Services, IT Support, FP&A;, Tax, Financial Procurement, and Customers) to ensure timely delivery of critical information and collaboration on matters related to Treasury and Financial Solutions processes. Accountabilities
- Execute all activities within the territory in accordance with the Global Treasury Policy.
- Lead and implement actions and decisions that drive better cost-efficiency results.
- Report the most relevant KPIs in a timely manner for both Treasury and Financial Solutions functions, being responsible for all database management and analysis requirements.
- Manage bank relationships and other third parties related to Financial Solutions programs, ensuring sound and stable business relations with all partners.
- Monitor market financial variables on a periodic basis and generate insights on proposed alternatives to mitigate their impact on the business.
- Implement Financial Solutions in accordance with their guidelines, maintaining a close relationship with the commercial area and customers.
- Act as the keeper of all supporting documentation for the implementation of any financial transaction across all business requirements, including audit purposes.
- Make decisions on business funding needs, ensuring the proper availability of credit lines with internal and external business partners.
- Ensure a reliable cash flow forecast process by providing relevant inputs accordingly and delivering sound deviation analyses.

- liquidity monitoring for all MESO local entities. Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in the agricultural industry.
- Solid accounting skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Upper-intermediate English level.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage administrative tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated independence and integrity, with a strong commitment to standards and compliance.
- Results-oriented, with a proactive approach to proposing process improvements and new ideas.
- Continuous improvement mindset, targeting increased productivity and efficiency in the area's processes.
- Up to date on market trends, with the ability to leverage technology and AI as medium- to long-term enablers for treasury function.
- Strong communication skills, with a collaborative approach and the ability to build cohesive teams.
- People-driven, with a genuine willingness to develop team members' potential and talents.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams to deliver results.
- Comfortable working in complex matrix and international environments.
- Highly adaptable, with experience managing changing and occasionally conflicting priorities.
