Key Responsibilities Identify new accounts that match the company's customer profile. Execute cold outreach strategies (calls, emails, outreach on social media platforms such as LinkedIn). Support customer inquiries, system support, and tender responses. Liaise between the global sales organization and the local executing entities to ensure that business awards translate into defined operational service provisioning. Translate contractual obligations into defined services and deliverables. Support and police the data integrity and quality of the Oil & Gas SCM system. Key Accountabilities Lead, coordinate, and report all sales & business development activities relating to new and existing key accounts, target clients, and industries. Regularly liaise with Developers, Project Owners, OEMs to identify new business opportunities and deugro issues. Ensure clients understand the core services and value potential of deugro. Identify new revenue streams and solutions to encourage clients to extend existing services. Lead selected initiatives working with Regional Sales Managers. Support and work with pricing and tender management teams. Develop relationships with Developers, Project Owners, OEM key decision makers, and manage customer feedback. Manage the opportunity pipeline, proactively acting on all possible opportunities to achieve results in line with agreed targets and objectives. Promote clear and consistent communication within the sales team. Report changes and trends in the marketplace and activities of competitors. Comply with all TSA, DOT, and Customs regulations (US and foreign). Prepare and develop a sales strategy consistent with the Business Plan together with the delegated manager. Adhere to pre‐screening and documentation to satisfy corporate client procedures and processes. Utilize the Pricing Team for bid completion and provide support and guidance to ensure accuracy. Establish, communicate, and implement sales targets and plans for current accounts throughout the United States in conjunction with the delegated manager. Meet and exceed sales objectives of growth, profitability, and productivity with the delegated manager's support. Own activity and development on designated current accounts. Compile customer packages for verification of creditworthiness with respect to financial and liability issues. Provide market intelligence about price, service comparisons by competitors, and new projects with current clients. Travel as required for client visits and approved by the delegated manager. Develop and maintain strong long‐term customer and vendor relationships. Communicate overseas, anticipating needs in overnight correspondence. Maintain current knowledge of seasonal, political, or other factors that could cause delays. Objectives Client portfolio and contacts – identify which clients you have a lead role for and how often you contact/visit (against your own targets). Client gaps – where we have no success, poor knowledge, or issues. Achieve agreed turnover and profit goals within the first six months. Report the number of tenders received in the last 12 months (budget vs firm shipments). Success on firm shipment enquiries (conversion rate, turnover, profit). Project/Client pipeline – what the client has to award, the value of future tenders. Attitude Prioritize, plan, and manage tasks on a daily basis. Minimum 3 years of freight forwarding / project freight forwarding experience with business development. Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing.
