**Tongo** is building the financial operating system for the commission-based economy. We aim to provide cash-flow aligned liquidity to stabilize cash flows, and automated commission distributions designed to facilitate tax savings, retirement investments, and an array of other financial products. With a fully remote team based predominantly in the United States and varying time zones, our projects are pivotal in shaping the future of finance for commission-driven businesses.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and develop a comprehensive Playwright-based test automation framework for end-to-end, integration, and regression testing.
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to ensure automated test execution and seamless deployments.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure robust test coverage.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize test performance in CI/CD environments.
- Identify and report bugs, ensuring issues are tracked and resolved efficiently.
- Maintain and enhance test infrastructure, tools, and scripts.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- 3+ years of experience in software testing and automation development.
- Proficiency in Playwright for building and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Python).
- Familiarity with modern software development practices (e.g., Agile, DevOps).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Solid understanding of testing concepts, including functional, non-functional, and performance testing.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker. We deploy to AWS using GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of AWS for CI/CD deployments.
- Experience with other testing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Puppeteer.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
