- Drive the “SEO-first” mentality across the marketing organization, incorporating organic search philosophy, attributes, and optimization opportunities at all stages of content creation and technical implementations. Conduct SEO training sessions (content creators, writers, developers, etc.) as needed.
- Operate as an extension of the content and creative teams to provide recommendations and implement strategies in coordination with SEO goals

- Conduct ad hoc SEO audits as needed, including measuring keyword positions, search volume and overall site visibility and ranking using defined SEO tools.
- Perform ongoing SERP analyses and optimize on-page elements and site architecture for critical search terms in multiple languages/countries.
- Perform ongoing competitive analyses and content audits to identify opportunities to grow traffic for critical search terms in multiple languages/countries.
- Utilize data from internal analytics and 3rd party tools to identify content gaps and help partner teams prioritize the most impactful work. Prioritize and translate technical recommendations to the engineering team and communicate progress.
- Report on monthly and quarterly progress against OKRs and project goals to keep stakeholders informed on SEO performance. Collaborate with the Marketing Analytics team to refine reports and insights that accurately measure the impact of tests and projects.
- Manage relationships with our vendors and agency partners to help scale our SEO efforts.
- Stay informed on current SEO best practices to ensure that GHD gains and retains SEO leadership in its industry.
**Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
- Fluent in English.
- Proven Experience: 4+ years of experience working in a technical SEO capacity.
- Content SEO: You have experience performing keyword research, finding content gaps, monitoring competitors, and partnering with stakeholders to create content that performs well in organic search and connects with our target audience.
- Technical SEO: Plan, execute, and measure programs to prioritize our most valuable content through all phases of the search engine process including crawling and indexing.
- Versatility: An ability to dive into the weeds of technical details with team but get straight to the point when communicating with non-technical stakeholders.
- Web: Understand front-end web dev languages, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (not coding level).
- Charisma: You'll need to influence cross-functional teams by building compelling business cases for content enhancements and technical optimizations
- Technical Acumen: Expert-level knowledge of Google Search Console; familiarity with various crawling tools (ScreamingFrog, DeepCrawl, etc.)
- Analytical Capabilities: Partner with analytics and data science to provide program results, market insights, and opportunities to a cross-functional team that includes product managers, designers, and engineers.
- Proven Excellence in: Written and verbal communication, creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and organization.
