Trainee Accountant, San Fernando

A growing professional practice based in San Fernando, Trinidad & Tobago is seeking a highly motivated and disciplined Trainee Accountant / Audit Assistant (ACCA Pathway).
Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
Assist in external audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and completion.
Perform audit testing across areas such as revenue, expenses, receivables, and payroll.
Prepare working papers to professional standards.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements under IFRS / IFRS for SMEs.
Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or final year student status.
Pursuing or willing to pursue ACCA is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
