**About the Job**: We are seeking a dedicated **Tech SEO Manager** who will serve as our technical infrastructure specialist and systems architect. This role bridges the gap between SEO strategy and technical execution by building custom tools, automations, and data solutions that enhance our team's capabilities and client outcomes. You'll work closely with our Senior Tech SEO Manager to identify technical needs and translate them into scalable solutions that improve workflow efficiency and service delivery.

This is a primarily internal role focused on building and maintaining our SEO technology stack, with occasional client interaction for data presentation and technical demonstrations. You'll be joining a collaborative technical team that values innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Systems Architecture & Development**: Build and maintain our SEO technology stack using Python, JavaScript, and Google Cloud Platform, following software development best practices
- **Tool Creation & Automation**: Develop custom tools and automations to streamline SEO workflows, similar to our current automated content tool that leverages APIs and MCP protocol with AI to eliminate manual processes
- **Data Analysis & Visualization**: Create comprehensive data visualizations and reporting frameworks that highlight technical SEO performance and insights for both internal teams and client presentations
- **SEO Data Integration**: Build systems that integrate with major SEO data sources and APIs including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and other industry-standard tools
- **Technical Health Monitoring**: Implement and manage automated systems for monitoring technical SEO health across client websites
- **Collaborative Design**: Work closely with the Senior Tech SEO Manager to scope, design, and prioritize tool development based on team needs and strategic objectives
- **Process Optimization**: Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve workflow efficiency across the technical SEO team
- **Team Presentations**: Present tools, findings, and technical solutions to the broader team, ensuring adoption and effective utilization
- **System Maintenance**: Maintain and improve existing tools and systems (20% of role) while focusing primarily on new development initiatives (80% of role)
- **Documentation**: Create comprehensive documentation for all tools and systems to ensure team accessibility and knowledge transfer

**Qualifications**:

- **5+ years of experience** in technical roles involving system development, data analysis, or similar technical disciplines
- **Strong programming skills** in Python with experience in data science libraries (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, etc.)
- **JavaScript proficiency** for web-based tool development and API integrations
- **Google Cloud Platform experience** with cloud infrastructure, data storage, and deployment
- **SEO tool familiarity** with major platforms like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or similar SEO data sources
- **Data visualization expertise** with the ability to create compelling, actionable dashboards and reports
- **API integration experience** with REST APIs, authentication, and data pipeline development
- **Systems thinking** with the ability to design scalable solutions that follow software development best practices
