Senior DevOps Engineer (Región Metropolitana)

Location

Hybrid/remote‑friendly. Preferred candidates based in Latin America; work hours aligned to PT or ET. Candidates in Santiago, Chile may work from the Santiago office, while others will be fully remote.

What You’ll Do
- Design cloud infrastructure components (network, compute, storage, orchestration, security, etc.) for containerized micro‑service applications.
- Build and deploy these components using an infrastructure‑as‑code platform such as Terraform.
- Lead the creation and management of CI/CD pipelines, applying advanced deployment strategies (blue/green, canary) to deliver applications without downtime.
- Mentor team members on best practices and problem resolution.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, infrastructure, and frameworks.
- Act as the SME during incidents, supporting resolution and root‑cause analysis.
- Design and implement processes and tools with the team.
- Work with the latest technologies in Google Cloud Platform and keep skills current.
- Manage and optimize cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS for scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and other IT teams to promote a DevOps culture.

What We’re Looking For
- Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- 3+ years of cloud infrastructure or DevOps experience.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- In‑depth knowledge of at least one of GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab.
- Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and system administration.
- Ability to analyze metrics from distributed applications for performance tuning.
- Experience recommending cost‑effective solutions that scale.
- Proficiency in scripting (shell, Python, etc.).
