Production Engineer (Pargua)

You will be responsible to support the production team to achieve quality, capacity, and cost improvement goals. This is an opportunity to gain experience running a unit. The Production Engineer utilizes a broad understanding of the unit operations processes and procedures to provide analysis, give instruction, plan, compile information, and work collaboratively with others to meet daily production plans. The role has responsibility for assessing the quality, robustness, and capability of the process and making decisions, with others, to halt or modify production as needed if the process does not meet quality and/or safety standards. The incumbent must be able to interact effectively with plant personnel at all levels to influence desired outcomes and foster an environment of Collaboration, Camaraderie, and Commitment.

Responsibilities: Typical duties of the job include:
- Support production unit activities to meet Safety, Health and Environmental Goals.
- Drive Quality / Food Safety, Production, and Cost Improvement activities
- Provide technical support for specific manufacturing unit(s) including monitoring performance metrics, monitoring OEE data, troubleshooting, and investigating product quality issues.
- Investigate and resolve production issues such as schedule delays, process disruptions, equipment failures, and other production-related concerns with a cross-functional team (Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality Control)
- Manage unit Process Safety Management (PSM) aspects including Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-startup Safety Reviews (PSSR)
