Hiring Rate to be determined, based on qualifications General Duties and Responsibilities: The City of Lenoir seeks to fill positions at Mulberry Recreation Center in the areas of Concession Attendants, Scorekeepers, and Umpires/Referees. Duties may include but are not limited to: collecting money, assisting patrons, keeping score for games, officiating games, and ensuring facility and patron safety. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have good working knowledge of general business practices.
- Must have good customer service skills.
- Must have a positive attitude and maintain a professional appearance.
- Should have some background in working with the public.
- Scorekeepers must have general knowledge of the sport/sports.
- Umpires/Referees must have an in-depth knowledge of the game and rules. Work Schedule:
- Approximately 10
- 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekend work.
- Work will be scheduled on an as needed basis. Requirements: This position requires the physical ability to crawl, kneel, sit, stand, bend, stoop and lift up to 20 lbs. repeatedly. Experience handling money and dealing with the public is preferred.
